In the third quarter of 2024, the top social apps in Belgium showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

TikTok from TikTok Pte. Ltd. experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $243K and peaking at around $252K in early September. Downloads were fairly stable, averaging around 23K to 26K weekly, with active users ranging from 1.6M to 1.7M throughout the quarter.

Threads by Instagram saw a consistent increase in downloads, starting from 19.8K and reaching a high of 48.4K by late September. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, beginning at 405K and climbing to over 433K by the end of the quarter.

Instagram continued to show steady weekly downloads, fluctuating between 17.2K and 22.1K. Revenue for Instagram remained relatively stable, with weekly figures hovering around $14K to $20K. Active users consistently surpassed 3.2M, peaking at over 3.3M late in the quarter.

Facebook from Meta Platforms, Inc. maintained a consistent download rate, varying between 13K and 15K weekly. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, with a peak of $9.5K in early August. Active users remained robust, consistently exceeding 5.1M throughout the period.

Lastly, X by X Corp. experienced a slight decline in downloads, starting at 5.8K and dipping to around 4.4K by mid-September. Revenue showed a modest increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately $6.4K. Active users, however, saw a gradual decline from 688K to 622K.
